The
psychedelic fashion fully embraced all the bold and bright colorful patterns of
the 1960s. Psychedelic art is any kind of visual artwork inspired by
psychedelic
experiences induced by drugs such as LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin. The word
"psychedelic” means, "mind manifesting".
In
1960s, psychedelic art was popular in San Francisco and some of poplar
designers of psychedelic
posters were Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse and Wes
Wilson.
Psychedelic
art made use of beautiful and brightly forms of colored patterns with detailing
and such compositions always illustrated the psychedelic experiences felt by
the artist.
The 1960s was one such period that
witnessed many trends from the hippy culture to people who would love to rebel
and be seen and heard.
