Psychedelic

The psychedelic fashion fully embraced all the bold and bright colorful patterns of the 1960s. Psychedelic art is any kind of visual artwork inspired by psychedelic experiences induced by drugs such as LSD, mescaline, and psilocybin. The word "psychedelic” means, "mind manifesting".

In 1960s, psychedelic art was popular in San Francisco and some of poplar designers of psychedelic posters were Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse and Wes Wilson.

Psychedelic art made use of beautiful and brightly forms of colored patterns with detailing and such compositions always illustrated the psychedelic experiences felt by the artist.

The 1960s was one such period that witnessed many trends from the hippy culture to people who would love to rebel and be seen and heard.

1960s Calculator

Perhaps one of the most amazing inventions ever, almost every person is familiar with this device particularly the fact that it is used not only by mathematicians but is put into practice by almost everyone. The first calculator was created in the Late 1960s and the pocket version became available in 1970.

The electronic calculators of the mid-1960s were large and heavy desktop machines due to their use of hundreds of transistors on several circuit boards with a large power consumption that required an AC power supply.

1963 -- Bell Punch Co. LTD and Sumlock-Comptometer LTD of England introduce the "Anita" which is claimed to be the world's first fully electronic desk-top calculator
